Citadel of Hope Church of God in Christ is a Spirit-filled congregation in the heart of Inglewood, California — a place where the brokenhearted find healing and the searching find purpose.
Citadel of Hope is a Church of God in Christ congregation serving Inglewood, California. We gather each week to worship, to be strengthened by the Word, and to carry hope into our neighborhoods, our schools, and our homes.
A citadel is a place of refuge and strength. That is what this house is meant to be for our city — a fortified place where lives are edified and the lost are found.
Pastor Shawn D. Lollis Sr. serves as Senior Pastor and Superintendent of Citadel of Hope Church of God in Christ in Inglewood, California, leading this congregation alongside First Lady Niketa J. Lollis.
More of our history will be shared here as our leadership adds it.

Our mission defines the work God has called us to do. Our vision shapes how we carry that work into our church, our community, and the world.

Mission 01
The lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Mission 02
Believers through biblical teaching, discipleship, and fellowship.
Mission 03
The whole person to live a sanctified life, impact the world for Jesus Christ, and serve the community with love and compassion.
“At Citadel of Hope, we strive to be compassionate in our love, excellent in our service, holy in our living, passionate and reverent in our worship unto God.”
Scripture Foundation
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
We hold the Bible as the inspired, infallible Word of God — the foundation of our faith and practice.
As a Pentecostal congregation, we believe in the active work of the Holy Spirit in the life of every believer.
We are called to love God and love our neighbor — to serve, uplift, and stand with our community.
